What are OLYMPIADS?
Olympiads examinations at the school level, are competitive examinations based on the school syllabus, which are conducted through various independent organizations.
These Exams give exposure to students about competition and make them ready to face any competitive challenge that would be thrown open to them in the future. The Programme is financially supported by the Government of India, by Board of Nuclear Sciences (Department of Atomic Energy), Department of Science and Technology, Department of Space, and Ministry of Human Resource Development

Only the selected no. of students from pre-regional and regional Olympiads are selected for National Olympiads
Students who clear National-levelOlympiads are called for Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC)
Top Students from OCSC camp are selected for International Olympiads

Stage 5:- Pre-departure Training Camp for IMO

Stage 1:- National Standard Examination (NSE) organized in subjects of Physics (NSEP), Chemistry(NSEC), Biology (NSEB), Astronomy (NSEA), Junior Science(NSEJS)
Stage 2:- Indian National Olympiad (INO)
Stage 3:- Orientation-cum-Selection Camps (OCSC)
Stage 4:- Training of Indian teams for International Olympiads at HBCSE.

- Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO):
Participation is organized by IAPT.
- International Astronomy Olympiad – Junior (IAO-Junior):
Participation is organized by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM).
- International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO):

- International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI):
Participation is organized by the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science and one may consult their website for more information (www.iarcs.org.in/inoi).
- National Mathematics Talent Contests (NMTC):

This is an international Mathematics competition.
