What is NSTSE

NSTSE stands for National-level Science Talent Search Examination. It is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment developed in India for Indian schools, after a detailed study of the syllabi of the Central and various State Boards. NSTSE is a diagnostic test that helps improve students. NSTSE measures how well students understood concepts and gives feedback to help them to improve.

The exam is conducted annually in 2 stages. The school level and the National level.

NSTSE 2022 Application Form Fee

 

Only those candidates who individually registered for the examination will get the 2 Past/Model Question Paper, SPR (Special Performance Report), Success Series Book (SSR), and Postal charges which are included in the registration fee.

 

NSTSE 2022 Application Form

  • Application forms are available on the official website https://www.unifiedcouncil.com/
  • The applications for the exam can be submitted in two ways:

 

Direct/individual Applications
  • Step 1: Click on the link to apply.
  • Step 2: The applicant can now select the option they wish to apply for.
  • Step 3: Fill in all the details.
  • Step 4: Submit the application form.
  • Step 5: Make the payment online.

 

Registration through school
  • Step 1: Click here to download the School Registration Form.
  • Step 2: Fill in all the necessary details.
  • Step 3: Provide details of the students registering for the exam in the prescribed format.
  • Step 4: Prepare the Demand Draft of the application fee in favor of a UNIFIED COUNCIL payable at Hyderabad.
  • Step 5: Send the completed form along with the DD to the address of the Unified Council by Speed Post/Courier Service/Registered Post.

Ranking System

When more than one student gets an equal top score, the priority for awarding ranks will be according to the marks acquired in the specified order of sections in the question paper.

In case of a tie in deciding a rank because of the same marks, the time taken for completing the test is considered for deciding the rank. One who has taken less time for completing gets the upper rank.

 

Prizes for National Achievers
  1. A) NSTSE Topper is awarded a 2,00,000 cash prize*. The student who achieves the 1st rank and highest percentage of marks among all the classes is declared as NSTSE Topper.
  2. The Top Rankers and the next 2 Rankers in each class are awarded a Laptop and a Tablet PC respectively + a Memento to, each.
  3. C) Ranks 4 to 10 and11 to 25of each class, are each awarded a cash prize of  2000 and Rs. 1000 respectively each.
  4. D) Rankers 26 to 100 of each class are each awarded BMA’s Talent & Olympiad Exams Resource Book from M/s. Brain Mapping Academy, each.

All the Rankers (1 to 100) are each awarded Olympiad Coach Online Subscription worth Rs. 1198, a Medal, and a Certificate of Appreciation.

Participation certificates are offered to all students who appear for the examination.

 

Prizes for State toppers

The top 3 rankers from each State (minimum of 10,000 students in a particular State) are awarded a special award for encouragement. He/she is awarded Olympiad Coach Online Subscription worth Rs. 1198, and a Certificate of Appreciation.

Note: State-wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks across the Globe.

 

Consolation Prizes

Top ranker in each class from selected cities are awarded Olympiad Coach Online Subscription worth Rs. 1198, and a Certificate of Appreciation.
